The Blessed Hope Podcast -- Episode Two: "No Other Gospel" (Galatians 1:1-10)
In Episode Two of our series on Galatians, I take up Paul’s opening remarks in his letter to the churches of Galatia (Galatians 1:1-10). Paul is clear—there is only one gospel, that revealed to him personally by Jesus. This is the gospel which Paul preached to the Galatians, and which is now being challenged by a group identified as “Judaizers.”
In this episode, we also discuss Paul’s two-age eschatology (his use of “this age” and “the age to come”), an important theological category throughout the writings of Paul.
